The Marketing Coordinator II position is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the marketing plans for the Creative Communications for the Parish multi-channel marketing strategy for both the Protestant and Catholic markets: Devotionals, Books, Church Goods, Planners.

Basic Functions:

To increase revenue for the Bayard Publishing Group with strategic marketing plans.

  • Coordinates the scheduling and implementation of promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade shows, direct mail, displays, and signage.
  • Schedules all marketing campaigns, monitor progress and report status updates to team to ensure on-time deployment.
  • Reviews marketing campaigns and specifications, prepares RFPs, and acts as vendor liaison to schedule, proof and deliver marketing material.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to proof all catalogs, direct mail promotions, ads, eblasts and product copy.
  • Communicates on product and marketing campaigns and updates to inside sales, customer service and other departments.
  • Assists Marketing Manager as needed to complete promotional collateral, mailings, emails, social media (in collaboration with editorial) and website content.
  • Supports convention and event planning with the development of collateral, booth signage, and product planning.
  • Maintains product and customer leads and prospects.
  • Coordinates consistent collection of new product metadata collaborating with various stakeholders and loads into database system.
  • Ensures new products are live on web site with accurate images, related products, video (if applicable), samples and browse categories.
  • Supports product development team with documenting ideation and implementation schedule.
  • Communicates product and marketing launches and updates to inside sales, customer service and other departments.
  • Maintains inventory of marketing literature, archive files, and sample files.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with customer service and sales partners to provide supportive promotional collateral including metadata, product visuals, print pieces and digital support.
  • Hours: Full time Monday through Friday.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years successful marketing, proofreading and editing experience. Publishing experience a plus. Excellent proficiency of Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat and Contact Management software. Bayard is looking for candidates with the ability to multitask to meet required deadlines, problem management skills, strong detail orientation and prioritization skills.
