This is an important milestone, as Bayard, Inc. will now be able to fully serve the catechetical, spiritual, and pastoral markets for children and for adults through the great gifts of music and song.

John Burland is a teacher and composer who has been writing and recording religious music for children and adults for over twenty years. He has written and recorded over two hundred songs and published fifteen music collections which are used extensively in school and parish communities across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

John regularly works with children, parents, and educators in school and parish communities and educational institutions promoting catechesis and celebration through song, movement, meditative prayer, and storytelling. He is a sought-after speaker and workshop leader and an internationally published author in the area of music and catechesis.

Over the last fourteen years John has been a regular presenter at the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress and the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) Convention in the United States.
