Magazines to cease print publication
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
I want to inform you of some important changes made to our organization earlier this week.
As you know, the business environment in which we operate has become more challenging, particularly in the parish and school markets. Bayard is however committed to continue to provide high-quality resources and services to our readers and customers.
As we look to the future, we know we must take some key steps to ensure the strength of our business, in order to continue to fulfill our mission. The comprehensive review of our organization and activities demonstrates that by building and focusing on our strengths, we have a solid foundation for growth.
With that context, we have made the difficult decision to suspend the print editions of Hopeful Living (after the July/August/September issue), Catholic Digest (after the Summer 2020 issue), Today’s Catholic Teacher (after the Summer 2020 issue), and Catechist (after the April/May 2020 issue).
Bayard Inc. is a great company, with talented and hard-working teams and a strong portfolio of brands and products. I am confident that these changes will position us to more rapidly respond to customer needs and better supports the mission of the church to communicate the Gospel message at every touchpoint.
Thank you for your ongoing interest in Bayard Inc and its mission, and for your support.
Sincerely
Hugues de Foucauld
CEO, Bayard, Inc.
