Seeing the Face of Jesus, a Creative Communications for the Parish Video – Screened and Recognized at the Mother Teresa International Film Festival in Kolkata

David Mead, editor at Creative Communications for the Parish, wrote, produced and directed the internationally recognized video—Mother Teresa: Seeing the Face of Jesus—which was one of twenty-two films featured and screened at the Mother Teresa International Film Festival in Nandan, Kolkata, during the week of August 26-29, 2016. Creative Communications for the Parish released this video on the life and works of Mother Teresa in 1998. This international recognition is a great honor and is testimony to the value of the ministry resources that continue to reach the faithful and speak to their hearts.
About the film:
Mother Teresa: Seeing the Face of Jesus presents the life and work of Mother Teresa with words and pictures for children of all ages. Taking the words of Jesus to heart—“Whatever you do unto the least of these, you do unto me,”—Mother Teresa saw the face of Jesus in the faces of the sick and dying, and in the face of each person that she helped. Mother Teresa asked the whole world to look for Jesus’ face in others—and to reach out to those in need. Small in stature, but great in influence, she bids us to “do small things with great love.”
Creative Communications continues to offer this film in a DVD version and it is available on the web or through the catalog.
